Pill shaped marble tiles were used in the WC, with a deep green concrete basin to compliment. This WC is not shut off from the hallway so we had to create a real feature in the space as if it was a piece of art. Each detail was meticulously placed in order to achieve the stunning home that this is.
This striking home is modern with clean lines, high contrast, beautiful organic textures and multiple rooms to dwell in. Combing different ideas into a cohesive scheme throughout was a challenge however, we created a balance to each space through the use of materials and colours, adding more complex finishes to make the home feel more luxe and refined.
This place is home to a busy working family. The brief was to create a design that was modern but also practical and suitable to each individual family member.
A custom wardrobe for the master was designed with shoes in mind! A whole wall was left for a custom shelf to be installed with feature lighting for all of the shoes to be displayed. The stairwell is made up of floating timber treads placed between custom black stained timber vertical slats. The media room was designed with a feature plinth for the TV to be mounted too with soft ambient lighting to add a point of difference to the space, but also a focal point on what would have been a white wall.
